COFFEE BEAN PENS
My newest medium is polymer clay. It provides myself (and you) endless possibilities. I can now custom match any color, or 2,3 or more color combinations for any pen you choose. I can also provide my customers with 4 new pen styles that are very unique and look great with any plating you choose.
The first style is Mokume-Gane: Which was originally a Japanese metalworking procedure which produces a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. Mokume gane translates closely to "wood grain metal" or "wood eye metal", describing the way the metal takes on the appearance of natural wood grain.
The second style is Millefiori: The term millefiori is a combination of the Italian words "mille" (thousand) and "fiori" (flowers). The millefiori technique involves the production of canes or rods, known as murrine, with multicolored patterns which are viewable only from the cut ends of the cane and layering in various patterns and colors.
The third style is texturing: As you can see from the picture I can achieve a 3-dimensional texture that is not only attractive but is very unique. You can choose the texture and colors you would like.
The fourth style is kaleidoscope: Where I can create a pattern and color scheme in a 60 degree pattern, and "mirror" it like a kaleidoscope in a pattern throughout the pen. This makes beautiful and eye-catching designs that will make your pen truly one of a kind.
I will number the 4 pens below per each style. These are not individual pens for sale, but examples of what I can create for you. Please contact me with the style you prefer, and any color scheme and design your prefer - or just ask me what I have on hand and I can show you finished pens in this style that I can ship same day. You can choose any pen style on my website, but I recommend the Wall Street or Sierra style or any pen on my elite page since they are slightly wider to show off the design.
